  • In my admin role, I am based on maternity so do newborn baby registrations as well as creating appointments for patients coming in and out of the hospital.
  • Spend a lot of time doing data entry making attention to detail a big part of this role
  • Enhanced office efficiency by streamlining administrative processes and implementing organisational systems.
  • My role is the 24/7 ward clerk so after a certain time the other wards rely on me to cover their wards admin as they go home so I am effectively in charge of the whole hospital for after hours.
  • Streamlined administrative processes for improved efficiency in handling patient information and communication between staff members.
  • With the switchboard role, I am taking internal and external phone calls and diverting callers where they need to go.
  • Privacy is a big one for this role as we are unable to give out personal information to just any caller as well as efficiency to get the calls through as quickly as possible.
  • Assisted nursing staff with daily tasks, contributing to a well-organised and functional ward environment.
