Over the past year have been juggling various jobs including working on the family farm, being an activation ambassador at Enque Agency and nannying. I have been thoroughly enjoying the variety of work and also completed a floristry course. Previous to this, I had been working as a retail assistant at David Jones and studying a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of South Australia which I decided to defer due to personal reasons. I also worked as a Nanny throughout this time and for SA Health as an Assistant in Nursing during uni holidays. I have also been a part of the COVID swabbing team at a small rural hospital. Previous to this I was living at home on the family farm. I was able to work for two local families caring for their young children two to three days per week. I also worked at the local café and the tyre dealership, enabling me to work full time most weeks. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of work as I was able to gain skills in different areas which has also allowed me to be more sure in the decision about what field of work I would like to continue with. Previous to this I attended Sacred Heart College as a boarder. I had the privilege to be Head Boarder. This enabled me to gain strong leadership skills as well as independence. Before returning home after completing school, I had the opportunity to work as a junior office clerk at MGA insurance for a short period. This was a great opportunity, but I found I wanted to spend one more year home with my family. This allowed me time to gain different experiences and give me time to clearly plan my future.
