Working within the product development squad, my responsibilities involved taking ownership of all Quality related activities, both manual and automation along with liaising with different stakeholders to help deliver a high-quality product during every release.

Description and Duties

• Perform functional and end to end testing for AXIS Web Application. Verify the new requirement during the sprint cycle before automating the test case. Each layer of the application is tested separately – API/Data/FE.
• Build E2E Automation test scripts using Playwright in Java. Help maintain the nightly Automated Regression test suite along with adding new tests for new features.
• Write and maintain API Automation suite in JavaScript using Cucumber and Gherkin for BDD framework, as well as use Postman and Swagger to verify and validate them manually.
• Working with Axis product squad following the Agile - Scrum methodologies and actively contributing to all agile processes/ceremonies
• Work closely with the Development team to debug and find issues as early as possible within the Development cycle.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders, like Product Owner and Ui designers, within the squad to attain the best outcome for the product and quality.
• Create Testing dashboards by sending the automation results to Datadog and set up error alerts for each environment into Teams
• Reporting the defects by logging them in JIRA and prioritizing defects as per the Sprint scope by organizing the bug triage session with the Product owner.
• Help liaise with other squads in EU, as and when needed to collaborate and unify testing processes within Axis.

Worked closely with different departments testing everything to develop innovative solutions and deliver them with utmost quality.

• Tested Mobile (iOS and Android) and Web App in agile environment
• Performing requirement analysis , writing test cases, executing and optimizing them to maximize success of manual software testing.
• Design, create, execute, analyze tests and involve in bug triage and defect management Performing Functional Testing, Widget testing, Regression and Retesting
• Collaborated with product owners to stay current on intended functionality.
• Documenting all artifacts of testing like Test Scenarios, Test Cases, defect Reports & Test Summary Reports

Performed functional and integration testing for the engine control unit in Nissan engines.

• Written scripts to automate the processes in the project .

• Attended meetings and took on leadership role as point of contact or stakeholder for projects.
• Coordinating the team for the project work activities such as defect tracking, best practices and lessons learnt
• Involved in preparing Quality documentation, traceability and impact analysis of requirements and tests.
