Duo Pitch Warren Truss, UTS Spring 2019
• Designed, built and tested a modified version of the Warren Truss using AutoCAD, and distribution of load
methods.
• Ranked Top 5 overall in terms of design and weight to load carrying ratio.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis of Flow around a Sphere, UTS Autumn 2019
• Worked in a team of 5 to deliver a challenge project aimed to analyse external fluid flow around a circular
cylinder using commercial CFD software (Solidworks and Ansys).
• Project work lead to a receiving job offer as a U:PASS leader for the subject Fluid Mechanics.
Modelling Geogrid Reinforcement in Ballasted tracks using Discrete Element Method (DEM), UTS Autumn 2021
• Using the software package PFC3D, to evaluate the interface response of geogrid – ballast reinforcement,
and enhance the design of current Australian Railroads to support greater train loads and speeds.
• Performing numerical modelling and validating the data with information provided by RailCorp and ARTC.
