Philosophy

I believe that each child is an individual and as an educator, I will value and develop each child's strengths, interests, skills and knowledge to extend their abilities and achieve lifelong skills. Children should be given choices, responsibilities, and opportunities to promote senses of agency and confidence. Observations and assessments are excellent tools to give insight into the development, knowledge and skill levels of each individual child. My goal as an early childhood teacher is to provide children with a rich environment where they feel safe to explore, initiate learning, and feel free to express themselves. I respect other cultures, backgrounds and beliefs of the families and want to include and celebrate their cultures in our learning opportunities. I think nothing is unachievable if we are working as a team, collaborating respectfully alongside others.

Additional Information

A little more about me: I like art, music and dancing. I enjoy watching movies, painting and sometimes photography of nature. I love animals, especially dogs.
