Shelby Vosburg is a trained dancer who has been in the dance world from the age of 3. She thrives in teaching younger dancers to be confident in their dance skills while also teaching new skill every day.
In high school, Shelby held an national title for her tap dancing from Disney World's Contest of Champions for two straight years. She also competed in multiple local dance competitions throughout her career where she won multiple first place awards.
Shelby went to college at Piedmont University where she double majored in Theatre Arts and Mass Communications. During her time in college, she was the dance captain of every musical for the department, including, Sweet Charity, Pippin, Anything Goes, and South Pacific. While being dance captain she also was assistant choreographer for multiple shows. Her senior project was to put together and choreograph a full hour and a half dance show with students of all different levels of dance experience.
After graduating college, Shelby moved to Jacksonville, FL where she began her career in teaching dance. She has been teaching students from age 3 to adults.

Enthusiastic Bollywood Dance Instructor offers ten years of experience in Choregraphy and Bollywood dance performances. Accomplished performer and teacher passionate about developing talent in students. Choreographs and plans dance lessons for Bollywood music. Background includes dance performance, recital planning, performance management and classroom instruction. Passionate about instilling a love of dance in children, as well as techniques and strength for long-term benefits. Skilled leader of dance classes with success planning choreography and coaching individual students. Knowledgeable about posture, strength coaching and flexibility needs. Works well with very young students and students new to dance.

I am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher with a strong performing arts skillset that encapsulates all areas of the Arts curriculum, who aims to bring both industry knowledge and experience into the classroom. I endeavor to empower students to reach their full potential and develop the necessary skills to be productive and influential members of society. My objective is to create a classroom environment that encourages diversity, that is inclusive and accepting of all students.
