Sarfrajali Malpara

In his current role, Sarfrajali is a highly skilled tradesman involved in the end-to-end manufacturing and assembly of a variety of upholstered and bedding products. His duties include but are not limited to:

Mattress and Bedding Product Manufacturing:

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, material lists, and production schedules for various product types including mattresses and bases.

Operating industrial machinery to cut, shape, and assemble mattress components including foams, springs, latex layers, and quilted fabrics.

Assembling full mattress units using gluing, stapling, and stitching techniques to secure layers and ensure durability.

Attaching quilted panels, borders, and labels to mattresses using both manual and powered tools.

Conducting detailed quality control inspections to ensure each mattress meets the company's rigorous standards before packaging.

Bed bases and Upholstered Bed Heads:

Cutting, sewing, and upholstering fabric onto frames with precision and consistency.

General Workshop and Support Duties:

Collaborating with team leaders and production staff to coordinate manufacturing timelines and meet client delivery targets.

Using and maintaining power tools and machinery such as staple guns, sewing machines, cutting tables.

Adhering to workplace health and safety policies at all times and contributing to a clean, efficient, and hazard-free environment.

Supporting the training of staff in proper assembly and upholstery techniques when required.
