  • Being interviewed by TVNZ for a feature story based around the real estate market and price comparisons across main cities. This was filmed for 7 Days (current affairs show which airs every week night at 7pm)
  • Co-lead agent contracted to market and sell 90 residential sections in a new subdivision (Olivefields in Rolleston). This involved collaborating with vendors, surveyors, engineers, geotechnical advisers, developers, construction companies, contractors and more. This also required handling a high level of enquiries and juggling multiple offers and contracts, along with being the ongoing first point of contact and liaison between developers and purchasers for things such as developers approval of plans & bond refund applications etc.

Career Highlights for the above position/s:

  • Securing a dance performance opportunity for students to open Canterbury Fashion & Beauty Week, performing in front of a number of VIP guests. Two students with Downs Syndrome were also chosen to model at this event, which was a first in Christchurch for an event like this (though much overdue).
  • Assisting with the choreography for a dance item which was performed at the Special Children's Christmas Party - the largest annual event for children with health or extra needs in Canterbury.
  • Writing and Directing short educational films, for the New Zealand Civil Defence, specifically created to teach the disability community how to prepare survival kits and how to create an emergency plan, so they are prepared for the next earthquake event. These scripts needed to be humorous and engaging, but with enough vital information in the content. Our students starred in the videos, which are used nationwide in New Zealand in various special education schools and community housing.
