Worked in the postnatal ward at LRH, providing dedicated care to mothers and newborns by monitoring their recovery, supporting breastfeeding and infant care, educating parents on newborn health and postpartum wellness, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the early bonding and adjustment period.

Worked as a midwife for 8 weeks at Whyalla Maternity, covering antenatal clinic, labor ward, maternity assessments, postpartum care, and home visits to support comprehensive maternal and newborn health.

• A distinctive healthcare service that extends across the border of Victoria and New South Wales, offering public health care to a population of around 280,000. It holds the position of being the second-largest regional health service in Victoria.
• Completed my midwifery training as a graduate at this hospital in 2020.
• Employed as a permanent registered midwife, rotating through various areas within the women and children service, including the maternity ward (antenatal and postnatal ward), birthing and assessment unit, and the special care nursery on a daily basis.

During my 6-week agency contract at Canberra Hospital's Postnatal Ward, I provided exceptional postnatal care to mothers and their newborns.
