Duties performed:

  • Coordinating and facilitating timely, expert WHS advice and assistance in managing WHS, including promotion of WHS across CSC Command.
  • Track & monitor trends from each business unit under CSC Command to enable an appropriate overview of performance & risk.

  • I conduct pre-employment checks such as reference checks.
  • I generate employment contracts and liaise with clients to complete letter of offer and contract details.
  • I provide broad range of HR services such as Recruitment, Position Management, administering onboarding, continuances, and terminations of Contingent Labour force, provide generalist human resource advice, Monitor and report on ongoing changes and requirements in workforce to resolve resource related matters and facilitate delivery of business services.
  • Liaise with range of stakeholders including external recruitment agencies, and internal IT staff as well as corporate HR to complete day-to-day HR functions and reporting at DTI.
  • Explaining NSWPF human resource policies and procedures to DTI managers to encourage them to adopt best practice for HR management.
  • Administration of HR support functions including leave, part time agreements, increments, allowances, secondary employment, transfers,separations and terminations and HR reporting.
  • Administration, collation, distribution and maintenance of local workers compensation documentation. Process Workers Compensation claims on SAP
  • Prepare Recover at Work plans for Officers sustained non-work related long term injuries
  • Prepared, monitored and reported recurrent budget for SSB Command against forecast and actual expenditure in A/FO/SAO portfolio. Supervised day-to-day financial management.
  • Deal with confidential staff records and information including Employee P-files
  • Prepared and published Staff Rosters, updated KRONOS rostering systems and HR adjustments that affect salary payments, payment of shifts, overtime, penalties, higher duty allowances, collate pay data and complete Pay upload on SAP
  • Coordination and management of planned leave process, obtaining leave preferences and formulating equitable leave schedules

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

- In previous HR Administrative Coordinator role, I have developed robust relationships with DTI Directors, Senior Management, Project Managers & Coordinators, PMO Office, DTI Finance, Contingent Labour & Placements Team, Position Management Unit, Security Vetting & Criminal Records Units, Strategic Procurement Unit and Recruitment Agencies.

- Worked closely with DTI HR Manager to establish the Injury Management processes in DTI since November 2021.

- Developed SOPS for Contingent labour and Service Provider engagements, continuances, and separation.
