  • Learned about different types of surgeries that patient had and what are the important things to consider while caring for them after surgery. For example, if patient has Parecoxib during surgery, they can't have anti-inflammatories for next 24 hours.
  • Able to perform pre-operative checklist for patients and making sure the consent is being signed and valid and performing relevant assessment related to procedure done for patient and documenting it appropriately. For example, for intensive surgeries make sure group and hold in place and valid, Urine test is done for patient with urology procedures to make sure there are not at risk of infection and pregnancy test is done for patient with gynae procedures to check whether they are pregnant or not.
