Roles and responsibilities:

• Provided physiotherapy services for specialized acute care hospital.
• Assessment and designing an appropriate treatment plan for each patient.
• Interpreted results and proposed intervention plans, including short and long range goals.
• evaluated and treated wide range of conditions, including chronic and acute pain, arthritis, Parkinson's stroke and age related disorders.
• Assisted Physiotherapist on the Orthopedic ward due to large caseloads, reviewed and progressed patients with total hip or knee replacements, as well as facilitated in a patient transfer day-one post operation with a non-weight bearing.
• assisting resident to complete physiotherapy programmes.

• Roles and responsibilities:

In various departments:

• 1] Neurology (Neuro medicine and neuro surgery) : Assist the people with movement disorders that have originated from problems within the body's nervous and neuromuscular system. Undertake a comprehensive assessment of patient's strength, coordination and balance and will then tailor a treatment program to their needs. Passive Limb Exercises, Positioning, Bed exercises and Breathing exercise in ICU department. prescription, advice and instruction on how to safely use a walking frame, or other walking aids as required.
• 2] Geriatrics: Restore function or enhance residual functional capability and improving the quality of life in older people in particularly those with disabling impairments. improve functional mobility through exercise and activity programs (eg. weight shifting exercises, elevation changes and reaching activities. Good nutrition and Good general care (including hygiene, hydration, bowel and bladder considerations, and social and emotional support.
• 3] Pediatrics: Assessment, identification, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of movements includes development delay, and neuromotor problems. Makes movement easier by training more typical patterns of movements. Improve balance, coordination, muscle strength and range of motion.
• 4] Orthopedics and Trauma: Use a variety of treatment methods to assist a post-operative orthopedic surgery patients to achieve their goals. Hospital- based physiotherapy typically includes re-learning how to walk and making initial improvements on patient's range of movements and function of the affected joint. Pre-operative physiotherapy and post operative physiotherapy is help to strengthen a patient physically and cardiovasculary.
• 5] Physiotherapy OPD and Electrotherapy: Assessed, diagnosed and treated patients in Physiotherapy OPD Relived chronic pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and nerve pain by using targeted and controlled electrical stimulation. Use of Different electrotherapy modalities: TENS( transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), Interferential therapy, Therapeutic Ultrasound, Laser.
• 6] Covid Ward and Intensive Care Unit: Worked in Intensive Care Unit with cardiac patients: Asthma, Bronchiectasis, COPD and Pneumonia Assist the patients to how to recover from Covid and help them for basic protective measures at all time. Practice respiratory hygiene by coughing or sneezing, Breathing techniques and oxygen therapy. Experienced in work with Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) Assisting other doctors and healthcare workers during that time.
