Summary

I have been riding horses since I was 4 years old, I started training and selling horses of my own when I was around the age of 8, as I was training horses and selling them I got to meet some amazing people who gave me the opportunity to work with them and learn new skills from them.


I have worked for Michael sekulich helping break in yearlings, train and sell horses, bring horses back into work, handle yearlings and foals, wash, feed, & rug horses, I also got to have the amazing experience of riding and helping with his studs.


MJ equine has been a great experience of slowly creating my own horse training business during this time I have handle all different types of horses, I have done equissage sessions for clients and have also done all sorts of trying for clients, i have also worked with other horse riders helping them excel and learn more with in their riding.

Accomplishments

I have accomplished a lot with in my horse riding career, I have competed and placed very high in dressage and hack classes, I have competed at the ekka and in high welsh shows, I have also competed in show jumping and did the QLD show jumping states, i also competed all over qld in pony club (sporting) and campdrafting to make the qld pony club states where I competed in the formal gymkhana, sporting and campdraft, from here I qualified for the qld team and got to compete in the nsw pony club states.


After all them accomplishments I moved into the a new direction of competition I started barrel racing at nbha jackpot series and eventually got into nra where I have learnt to breakaway rope and steer undecorate, I made finals for nra sitting 11th in the jnr barrel race for my first year of rodeo, then last year I made finals for the jnr barrel race sitting 9th and I was also the nra princess for 2023, this year I am currently sitting top 5 of the jnr barrel racing standings, I’m sitting 12th for the open barrel race for finals, and am sitting 12th for the steer undecorating finals.


The horse that I have been using for last year and this year I have finished her education in barrel racing, trained her to rope, take a flag, steer undecorate, and pole bend.
