  • In this role I lead a small team to create and execute promotional campaigns across Rotorua and Taupo. Creating strategy to run engaging promotional campaigns and continue to build brand awareness and revenue for business's in the leading tourism region of New Zealand after slow years due to Covid-19.
  • I balanced two roles as manager and day show announcer throughout my period in the region utilising my time management and leadership skills to make sure myself and my team worked cohesively and continued to build revenue in the market.
  • I managed a small promotions team which covered two of the larger regions in the country. This included weekly mentoring sessions and goal setting for coordinators and continual growth meetings to help my team improve in their roles.
  • I planned and executed a solo show on More FM Rotorua everyday from 10am - 3pm involving members of the community on air and executing national and local promotions.
  • Introduced new systems for the promotional team to help improve the line of communication between us and local account managers, while also continuing to build the efficiency of our local promotions and programming team.

  • Across a 12 month period I lead the promotions strategy in the Waikato region, which is the fourth biggest region in New Zealand, and is consistently a top revenue gaining region for NZME as a whole.
  • I managed one coordinator in this time as well as a team of fifteen street crew members. This included organising rosters, supervising staff and executing training sessions.
  • Worked alongside Blair Dowling on his 'Hits' day show to create entertaining content alongside promotions as well as working alongside local community and charity initiatives to create a community feel on air and through our social media.
  • I had the oppourtinity to work alongside some of the biggest clients and events across the region including the massive agricultural show 'Field Days', Balloons over Waikato, The Gallagher Chiefs and more.

  • It is an experience I will never forget as I learnt more about the construction industry and grew within a role I wasn't necessarily experienced or comfortable in.
