  • Tender coordination - review documentation, drawings and specifications
  • Undertake quantity take-offs of large scale commercial projects using Bluebeam software and extract into Excel format
  • Liaise with suppliers for material costs, suitability of product and lead time
  • Estimate project costs for tender
  • Prepare detailed quotations for tender submissions
  • Liaise with client throughout project lifecycle (attend tender meetings, arrange samples, communicate lead times)
  • Prepare and submit project variations outside project scope
  • Review project contracts for inclusions / exclusions, project schedule and payment terms
  • Support Company Director and Project Managers in the delivery of projects
  • Project Administration: preparation of project documentation and document control
  • Conduct product research and purchasing of materials
  • Communicate with multiple trades and companies via construction programs such as Aconex

  • Liaise with designers regarding production processes from concept drawings through to manufacturing
  • Sign off joinery drawings and prepare timber cutting lists for production
  • Produce bill of materials for current and new product ranges
  • Estimate production times / labour to calculate overall production costs
  • Approve design changes and provide custom quoting
  • Research and development of latest manufacturing techniques and new materials/hardware
  • Construct prototypes from design phase through to production stage including required jigs and templates
  • Rectify customer service issues via onsite inspections
  • Complete purchase orders and reconcile invoices for material orders
  • Continuously monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency against production indicators
  • Monitor and record FSC/ PEFC certified orders
