  • I chose to take an indefinite work sabbatical to assist in looking after my elderly parents with my father in particular having a medical history that includes heart attacks, emphysema and blood clotting.
  • In October 2023, Mum and Dad both contracted Covid-19 and due to their declining health required full time live in care from October 2024.
  • In being able to provide my parents with the full time care requirements over the past year in their home environment I have had the opportunity to understand the difficulties that our Senior Citizens face on a "normal" daily basis when facing the rigours of ageing and illness.
