- Maintaining Fish tanks and livestock by cleaning and testing the PH and metallic levels of each tank and providing appropriate action, for example if a tank has high nitrates I would clean the tanks and treat with prime to ensure our fish are healthy and ready for sale
- Educating customers on appropriate care for their pets, wether that be dogs, cats, birds, fish or reptiles. For example a customer may have questions about a specific animals enclosure size, I can confidently direct them to the appropriate enclosure wether its in store or not
- Caring for kittens in our store and keeping records of their health and behaviour to ensure they are healthy with no behavioural issues, this involves their activity, eating behaviour and signs of health concerns such as runny noses etc.
- Lifting and organising stock including 20kg bags of dog food and moving pallets via forklift
- Ensuring the store is clean and organised by cleaning and disinfecting any messes are cleaned up including animal waste, this is important to ensure all customers and their animals coming into the store are safe from and possible pathogens or parasites from other animals
