* Provide leadership, personnel and operational management to the Katherine Mental Health / AOD service in the Big Rivers Region. (KMH/AOD Service).
* Contribute to the safe delivery of Mental Health services in the BRR through engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders both government and non-government .
* Ensure that, in conjunction with the TEMHS clinical governance committee, that clinical governance tools, policies and procedures are affectively developed and implemented, compliance is monitored, reviewed and reported on.
* To coordinate the roles of the multidisciplinary team members ensuring an appropriate level, skill and mix of health professional disciplines to provide a safe, effective and efficient service.

Assisted to develop a Consultation / liaison team at the Katherine Hospital to allow MH clients to be reviewed / supported in an after hour capacity in the hospital ED. To help to avoid unnecessary care flights to Darwin and treating MH clients closer to home. This service won the quality awards in 2025. It has also saved the department considerable costs in transfers.
