I am about to finish my final year of highschool. In year 12 I have had the privilege of being a leader and taking on roles such a House Spirit Leader and Captain of Boats (Rowing Captain). These roles have allowed me to work closely with a large range of people, where I have had to develop various skills such as organisation, patience, and communication. I have coxed schoolgirls rowing for 5 years and for the past 2 years I have coxed my schools First VIII. Through balancing year 12 studies, tutoring, social life and a high intensity sport such as rowing, I have developed skills such as time management, resilience, leadership and work ethic. Being a coxswain, it is important that I am a team player, but that I can also recognise when to step up and be a leader. I would love the opportunity to further develop these skills in the workplace.
