Summary

My name is Maria and I am originally from Athens, Greece. I speak Greek and English is my second language. I have been living in Perth for the last 10 years, and I am now an Australian Citizen. I am a mother to two wonderful little girls. I have been working with children for 9 years.

I am really passionate and Enthusiastic about educating children. I am very well organized, hard working and kind. I truly love the Reggio Emilia approach and I am inspired by the theorists. I find joy in helping others to reach their full potential, and working in partnership with families and the community.

I believe in the whole child, the learning environment being the third teacher and that inclusivity, play based learning, strong attachments, trust and support are the foundations of every successful relationship. I strive to be the best version of myself every day to become a positive role model for children and educators.

I have very good knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, how long day care services operate, rules and regulations around Child Care, the Theorists and Great knowledge and understanding of Programming and the cycle of observations.
