Summary

I am a university student currently undertaking a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) at the University of Sydney. I completed my HSC in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 94.95. My subjects were Advanced English, Advanced Math, Chemistry, Biology and PDHPE.

Being an educator has always been my passion and desire since childhood. When I am teaching, I enter a complete flow state and I enjoy every moment of it. My personality is naturally very warm and empathetic, which makes it easy for me to connect with any student I meet. I have an engaging teaching style which I easily adapt to optimise the learning of each individual student that I work with.

Since the beginning of 2021, I have been tutoring at Cluey Learning. I taught English and mathematics to students from year 7-10, as well as Mathematics Advanced to senior students. I worked with a range of students at Cluey Learning, including those with learning disabilities such as autism, ADHD, ADD and dyslexia and have effectively mentored them in English and maths through implementing differentiation in my teaching practice.

I started working at Alchemy Tuition in 2022 and continue to work there currently. I tutor primary school and high school maths as well as HSC Mathematics Advanced.

Hobbies

When I'm not studying or teaching, I enjoy winding down with a book or going for a swim. I love spending time with my family and friends and this is something I consistently make time for in my schedule, no matter how busy I get. I teach Islamic Scripture at my local primary school on Fridays and volunteer in the community whenever I can.
