Why am I adequate for this position?

I come from a small Island in the Indian Ocean where there is poor quality of care towards older people.

I had to take care of my grandparents at a very young age, and I helped them with their tasks, hobbies, and eventually helped them live their lives as they wished. These include doing household chores, gardening, giving medications, walking, and even showering sometimes, but this was not a burden for me; on the contrary, it helped me realize how much old people need support and help, even if they don't want to admit it
