Her current role is built on a track record as chief executive of a listed biotechnology company and prior to that as corporate finance and funds management executive, dedicated to investing in healthcare, biotechnology, and medical device companies. Maria has experience in guiding companies through early development, scale-up and expansion in her various roles as chief executive, corporate finance adviser and investor. Recognised for her broad, international experience she has built enduring business relationships in Australia, the USA, Europe, Japan and China at senior levels with capital market participants, and in the life sciences industry. A graduate of the University of Western Australia and the Chairmen’s Mentoring Program of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Maria has extensive executive, board and governance experience in listed and unlisted public and private companies. Maria, as Partner and CEO, has lead the development of the digital capital raising platform, launched the business and executed three capital raising transactions in the first six months of the business.
