Summary

With more than 20 years of experience in the field of art, I have worked as a reputable Aboriginal Artist Tutor, Teacher, and Gallery Attendant in Art Galleries. My knowledge and depth of understanding of Aboriginal Art and culture is expansive and this has equipped me with the ability to convey this message through work as a Tutor and Assistant working in galleries throughout Australia. As a Gallery Attendant in Aboriginal Art Galleries, I had the opportunity to liaise with a variety of people including international travellers and I developed a solid reputation for my customer services skills, sales, client liaison and as a storyteller through my understanding of art. My work as an Aboriginal Education Worker, Tutor, and Assistant Secondary Teacher involved being hands on with students in life-education, personal awareness, and understanding of their heritage as well as tutoring in art. As a professional, I have exemplary business skills and the ability to build relationships through trust, integrity, and professionalism in all communications and transactions. In addition, I have a strong set of skills relating to ordering of materials, financial management, marketing, and promotion. I have a passion for applying myself creatively and energetically to all roles and enjoy working in an environment where I can contribute in a leading way.
