Current Goals And Aspirations

I am an excellent communicator, both in a written and oral format.  I love working with young people. I value multicultural settings and have a keen interest in the environment. I would like to work in an environment that endorses a commitment to respect for people and the planet.

Personal Philosophy

Teaching has given me so many opportunities to interact with young people and their families. I  aim to see the student as a whole person rather than just an English student. I have had a variety of responsibilities whilst teaching, including creating mixed ability classes, managing student learning requirements, and facilitating restorative conferences to manage conflict. I work hard to develop strong relationships between home and school. I am known as a passionate and caring teacher and enjoy resource creation and planning to cater for student learning needs. I believe education is a cornerstone for a young person's future and with almost 20 years' experience, I can honestly say, I have seen the benefit of education in my students' lives.
