o Plan, organize and implement nursing care in accordance with individual resident care plans

o Assist and support personal care workers to complete allocated task

o Administer medication within scope of practice and endorsement

o Contribute to professional care practice such as assessments, exceptional and reporting and care plan evaluation

o Providing care to patients who require short-term observation or monitoring after an initial emergency evaluation. Assessing, managing and stabilizing patients who may need immediate inpatient admission but still require extended care or observation to determine the severity of their condition.

o Administration of medication via oral and intravenous and monitor responses under supervision of Registered Nurse

o Accessing vein to collect blood under supervision of Registered Nurse

o Administer medication via oral, intramuscular injections and monitor responses under supervision of Registered Nurse

o Assessing patient’s overall health, including cognitive function, mobility, social environment, medication and mental health.

o Collaboration with multidisciplinary team of doctors, physical therapist, social worker, and occupational therapist

o Provides personal care to assist residents to maintain independence and dignity related to activities of daily living and lifestyle according to individual care plan
