With my recent completion of Certificate III in Pathology Collection, I was lucky enough to be put on placement at The Royal Women's and Children's Hospital where I was able to put into practice all of the skills that I have gained throughout my studies. This was a very reassuring experience that I have made the right career choice and I cannot wait to grow my skills further and make a positive contribution to my community.
For the last 6 years prior to my recent studies I have owned my own successful business in events while also raising and juggling 4 kids, 1 dog, 8 chickens and a husband! With that, I was able to build excellent customer service skills, communication skills, ability to work on my own and also with numerous teams and most importantly, giving my clients the best possible service at all times. Having a large family also teaches you patience and valuable multi tasking and time management skills.
My compassionate nature is what drew me to this career change and I truly look forward to making a positive contribution to my community.
