  • Establish good working relationships with staff & clients, including to be their main point of contact for all aspects of the accommodation; taking them through a comprehensive orientation ensuring they understand the rules and requirements of shared accommodation; and updating relevant Site information such as activities available and transport timetables
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Rooming House and to be vigilant to any potential issues and problems
  • Ensure all common areas and assets are respected and kept clean, and that any cultural sensitivities are managed, and apply the principles of privacy, confidentiality and discretion as needed
  • Manage any onsite incidents as appropriate including to assess and address the immediate issue, determine and implement the most appropriate course of action, to complete incident reporting requirements and to escalate and communicate the issue as needed
  • Manage furniture assets, relocating bedroom furniture to accommodate client family structure
  • On-call assistance for any out of hour’s arrivals and emergencies that may occur on site
  • Conducting daily checks of property to ensure all maintenance issues are reported and actioned and any health and safety issues are reported to the appropriate department for attention
