MARIYAH SIARAKAS

I have recently just graduated from year 12 at Meriden School and am currently looking for a job in retail. I possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have the ability to present excellent customer service and be able to maintain strong relationships with coworkers. I am dedicated to identifying customer needs and ensuring that they are met as effectively as possible.

The past six years at Meriden have taught me and allowed me to utilise the skills that I acquired such as being committed, consistent, working diligently and having a caring spirit. This was evident in leadership roles I was involved in such as Applied Science captain, Basketball Captain, Water-polo Captain, being a part of the Trinity Grammar school Army Cadet unit and being a Meriden Ambassador. I also took upon the role of organising my year 12 formal which consisted of dealing with finances, communicating with students, companies and the venue which taught me great communication and organisational skills in the real world.

I believe and I am confident in maintaining a role in retail while ensuring that I am a quick learner and successful in building relationships with people.
