  • I am currently Senior Teacher at Parkerville Children and Youth Care. I was asked to return to this role by the EET Manager when the Senior Teacher retired from the role.
  • I work with other teaching staff to facilitate and manage referred students who had become disengaged with mainstream education and in most cases had very poor school attendance. We took on 12 students aged between 12 and 16 for 6 months (twice yearly) and enrolled them at NMTAFE in a Certificate III in General Education for Adults. They were also given the opportunity to work within our organisation as part of our maintenance program and thereby gain many working skills.
