  • I started a large ebay business prior to covid seeing the trend moving to online sales.
  • I then out grew my space in 6 months and moved the operation to a warehouse.
  • I then created an online auction house that functioned the same as a auction house, so the bidders registered online and could cone in to view upcoming auction lots or send them videos and photos on request. I also had shipping integrated so most item's could be shipped anywhere in Australia.
  • Through this I also delt with realeastate companies that hired me to handle seized commercial property that needed to recoup loss from goods seized.
  • Here are some other key things I did.
  • Established partnerships with key vendors, securing favorable terms and advantageous pricing for the company''s e-commerce operations.

  • Was employed by a large ventilation company from NZ in their first office opened in Australia, to sell ventilation systems for people's homes.
  • Had extensive sales training from two of the best sales people in NZ. They won the deloitte fast 500 multiple years.
  • Sales included us going to 5, 2 hour appointments a day to pitch appointments that were generated from our own call centre.
  • We had to educate them on the company and the product then close them including taking a deposit for the installation of the system within the coming days.
  • Was trained in all forms of sales with constant training and working on methods. These included us understanding all other aspects of the business to gather an appreciation for everyone's roles. So we worked in the call centre to generate our own leads at times, door knocking to generate leads in our down time, and working at large home shows that we had our own stall at to qualify and generate leads for eachother.
  • Has to meet sales targets and were assessed every month on our conversion rates and quality of work.
  • Was also moved to a senior sales role and would run sales training and meetings.
  • Worked long hours most days starting at 8:30am and earliest finishing at 9:30-10pm. Would work 7 days when we had expo's and did many trips away all over Victoria to sell to all areas.
  • Also flew to NZ to see operations and product training and sales training.
  • I also then moved into running their customer service due to them changing structures and moving sales back to NZ.
  • I handled all problems and would meet on site with customers to assess and discuss a resolution to any concerns they had.
  • Also help and organised install teams during this time including product training for them.
