  • Established a new global location strategy and target operating model resulting in the establishment an offshore technology hub in Chennai, India covering Product Support, Infrastructure Platforms, Digital Workplace, Cybersecurity, Business Solutions, Editorial Systems.
  • Consolidated 12 independent technology functions across United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, India, Russia, China, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico and the US delivering a standardised functional approach to delivering technology across markets and brands.
  • Defined the vision and strategy to deliver a Digital Workplace Transformation Program across 12 countries that involved the implementation of Gsuite, Slack, Zoom, 8x8, Unified Endpoint Management. Conde Nast did not experience productivity loss through COVID-19 as all users globally were able to access the Digital Workplace from any location globally.
  • Accountable for the vision, strategy and delivery of a Cybersecurity and Digital Compliance Transformation Program that involved the implementation of a new Cybersecurity function including Security Operations Centre (SOC) in India, implementation of EDR, NDR, DMARC, PCI Compliance, Social Media Account Protection, GDPR, Cookie Compliance, Vulnerability Management, Device Hygiene across 12 countries within 18 months.
  • Set the vision and strategy for a 24x7 Global Support operating model including a program of work encompassing ITSM best practices, underpinned by the implementation of ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM across 12 countries in multiple languages within 18 months.
  • Established a Global Service Portfolio capability responsible for the performance management of all technology contracts, renewals and invoicing. Major global contracts negotiated through this function were AWS, Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Oracle, Okta, ServiceNow, Salesforce and Workday resulting in $24M in contractual savings YoY.
  • Accountable for implementing Workday Financials and HCM in Mexico which was delivered within 8 months of initial business case approval. The business value realised drove an extension to the program to rollout Workday Financials and HCM across another 5 countries in Western Europe through 2021 – 2022.
  • Set the strategy and implementation of a divestment program to transition out Experian Technology functions from Malaysia and Costa Rica to Connexity locations in the UK, US, and Australia within 6 months.
  • Defined the strategy and delivered an overall Network Architecture Strategy for Toll Globally as part of the Optus $26 million renegotiation of network and telecommunication services. The result was a network platform that realised $2 million savings per annum, along with performance and service gains for accessibility to new cloud services
  • Addressed siloed procurement with Toll GIS by creating a new centralised Procurement and Provisioning function, enabling GIS and Toll Business Unit IT to procure and provision commoditised IT services, leveraging Enterprise Agreements with Microsoft, HP, Cisco, and Adobe
