I lead investigations targeting high end serious and organised crime impacting Australia and advise senior management on intelligence operations at a national and international level.
I was the team leader responsible for a team of 20 police constables in the Sydney CBD. I operated in highly scrutinised, fast paced and high risk environment requiring real time decision making to support first response policing services. I managed emergencies, reports of crime, issues related to licensed premises, mental health and large scale protests or demonstrations. I was responsible for the daily tasking and deployment of staffing resources. I directed and scrutinised the individual case officers case loads, investigation plans, and critical review of reports.
I set strategic direction and gathered evidence in complex investigations of serious and organised crime. I was the officer in charge of successful criminal prosecutions resulting in conviction for ongoing firearms trafficking, large scale drug supply, conspiracy and murder. I became well versed with the requirements, application and execution of instruments issued under legislation governing telephone Interception, surveillance devices, controlled operations and other police powers. I cultivated relationships with NSW Crime Commission, the Australian Crime Commission, Australian Federal Police, Australian Border Force and Director of Public Prosecution.
performed police duty within a country town located in NSW Central West with a population of 3,500 people. I lived within the community and whilst not on duty performed a call out function when necessary after hours. I was the local emergency controller managing an Emergency Operation Centre during bushfire and flood. I learnt the value of relationships and trust whereby intelligence and general information could be more readily

obtained. I managed every aspect of the police station both operationally and
administratively.
- I also took on a broader role throughout the region as a brief of evidence manager. I
reviewed and identified risks in written briefs prepared for court and escalated written recommendations to the crime coordinator.
