Mark Collett

Mark Collett is a former champion yachtsman having won and being placed in numerous WA, NSW and Australian 16 ft Skiff Championships spanning over 2 decades. Mark was in the Australian team for the 1981 18ft Skiff World Championship, was a squad member of the Australia II 1983 Americas Cup challenge and has sailed in the infamous Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race (4th).

In the mid 90's, Mark sought new sporting challenges and got involved in Equestrian – Eventing. During this time Mark was taught and trained by some of the World's best Equestrian Athletes. A bi product of this experience was an introduction to Equine Physiology and a subsequent goal to one day become a racehorse trainer adopting a sports science approach.

Mark in recent years has developed a strong relationship with the French company Arioneo which specialises in the development and marketing of analysis solutions for the performance and health of equine athletes which puts Mark at the forefront of applying cutting edge sports science principles and techniques to the training of thoroughbreds to maximise each horses racing potential.
