  • Overseeing the creation and operations of the Australian Unity Child Care Fund
  • In the 36 months of operation, the Fund has grown to a total value of $90 million through identification of assets for purchase that are accretive to investors
  • In this period I have concluded all contract negotiations and raised capital totalling $55 million for the funds growth
  • Key Duties: Funds Management, Investor relations, presentations, Internal and External communications, Capital Raising, Acquisitions, due diligence, Asset Management and legal negotiations including leases and sale contracts

  • Working with a number of development companies and Investment Groups to acquire properties on conditional contracts for the delivery of their future development needs
  • During this period, I was engaged by Panorama Capital to assist as General Manager of Property to develop small scale developments
  • Acquisitions and lease negotiations included child care centres in Brisbane and Melbourne with national operators
  • Key Duties: Identify development opportunities and underperforming assets, understanding and reviewing network plans, negotiating potential purchases and AFL and Leases

  • Engage with third parties- internal and external to put strategies in place to implement redevelopment plans
  • Parties included Councils, tenants, leasing teams and joint venture partners

  • Oversaw the growth of the child care fund from inception to a portfolio valued in excess of $90 million.
  • Actively raised $55 million in equity.
  • Finalised due diligence and Childcare Acquisitions of 16 assets in QLD, ACT, Vic, SA, Tas, and WA.
  • Achieved a 'Recommended' Lonsec rating for the Fund after a relatively short 2 year period.

Development Manager, Masters Home Improvement, 

  • Established the Masters Home Improvement Network in Victoria.
  • Secured 20 Masters Home Improvement sites, via a mixture of Development and Leasing opportunities.
  • Oversaw the Value Engineering of the design brief saving up to $40 million across the nationwide portfolio.

Acquisition Manager, Mirvac

  • Finalised the acquisition of a $600 million 44,000 sqm commercial CBD development opportunity known as 664 Collins St Melbourne.
