• Provide leadership and training services for the emergency response group. (ERTs) • Respond to Emergency Incidents. • Automatic Fire Alarm response

• Review and Overhaul of Operational Work Permits • Lead team of 4 or more employees in all operations including but not limited to: Structural Fires/Road Crash Rescue/Hazmat incidents/Confine Space Rescue/Vertical Rescue/Major Gas Facility Fires. • First aid / Medical Emergency Response. • Emergency response, planning and exercises • Evaluation processes / policy implementation • Working with individuals from Culturally Diverse backgrounds, from PNG, whom form part of the response team. • Training Assessments and Drills • Effective Communication, Written, Verbal
• Conduct Work Place assessments, (Audits/Risk assessments). • Ensure all Emergency Equipment is in maintained for operational readiness.

• Proven Ability to Lead a team of up to -18 Firefighters and 6 Operational Fire Appliances to any Complex Incident/Operations. • Ability to lead & operate under the following incidents - Including but not limited to: Road Crash Rescue. Confine space. Vertical Rescue. Swift-water Incidents. Major Hazmat Incidents & Aviation Rescue & Maritime Rescue etc.
