- Cutting vegetables to spec , weighing tubs and entering weights into computer.
- Cutting and trimming meat products ( chuck tender grissle trim, topside fat trim and slicing, trimming bolar blades , cutting up beef knuckle for mincer and trimming fat of chicken.
- Opening meat products into tubs and miner carts.
-Setting up and running Vemag baller, FM250 and Hopper vacuum filler to make meatballs and patties. Cleaning and sanitizing when finished.

Rubbish Room
- Run Pulpmaster ( emulsifier ), cardboard compactor, rubbish compactor and liquid waste pump for pumping out sauces and liquids into waste tanks.
Helped out in other areas when needed. Assembly working on lines assembling meals into trays and filling. Cookhouse , traying up product for ovens. Packing finished product into boxes after spiral freezer. Components A cutting and trimming beef products.
Mussel Cook
- Back up openers supervisor
- Setting up half shell line and foaming and sanitizing before shift.
- Receiving mussels bales and organising chiller into different farms and grades.
- loading bales of mussels into hopper and into mussel cooker.
- Setting temperature on cooker to get the best yeild out of the product.
- Making sure of correct flow of mussels onto table and checking temperatures to make sure internal temperature is above 68 degrees C.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the opening table during openers smoko break.
- Cleaning and sanitizing mussel cooker at end of shift. Getting it back up to temperature for dayshift to start.
- Deep cleaning factory on Friday nights. Aciding and wasterblasting opening table.
Dispatch/ Coolstore
- Loading product into 20 foot and 40 foot containers.
- Using slip sheeter forklift to load 40 foot containers.
- Loading and unloading product from racks on forklift in coolstores.
- unloading blast freezers and transferring product to coolstore.
- Stacking boxes on pallets for shop orders.
- Cleaning and sweeping coolstores. Deicing doorways.
Wharf Work
- Unloading Hoki boats on Picton Wharf.
- Unhooking tubs of hoki onto pallets to be loaded onto trucks.
- Sliding tubs off pallets on deck off trucks and strapping the load down.
