Head up AFL for Seven News in Melbourne, leading and mentoring our team. Entrusted to find own stories, produce and present them, mostly working live on TV to intense deadline pressure. Job requires consistency, commitment and self-motivation. Have built excellent relationships within AFL head office hierarchy, clubs and media. A finalist in the 2020 Quill Awards.

Regular news breaker/commentator on breakfast show. Have in past been a regular on Triple M.

Worked on the Herald Sun as one of the newspaper's leading sports journalists, mainly covering AFL, but also spending three years embedded in cricket at Shield and International level. Also covered the Olympics.

Given a licence to build contacts, and a strong network, across all sports, with a focus on the politics of the game. Promoted to AFL News Editor, a key leadership role. In 2010, won the Best News Reporter award in the AFL Media Association awards. In 2004, won the award for best feature writer. Winner of several Cricket Victoria media awards

Key role at the Sunday Herald Sun, sub-editing a wide range of stories from politics to crime to AFL. Specialised in story placement, news judgement and page design, working closely with writers and the Editor of the largest selling newspaper in Australia.
