• Manages day-to-day operations of PCC vessels in the fleet. Liaising with stevedores, agents, terminals, and ensuring all functions are performed as required. Assisting vessels with port information, weather forecasts.
• Conducts agency work for own PCC vessels in Darwin and Japanese navy vessels upon appointment. Liaises with port contacts, such as VTS, tugs, and port authority, when servicing vessels in and out of the port.
• Continuous monitoring and reporting of updates on the national ports situation to overseas principals, stakeholders, customers, including OEMs. Investigates the key drivers of change and helps assess alternate vessel routes for faster vessel turnaround.
• Assists with customer queries regarding vessel schedules.
• Inventory and management of MAFIs and lashing materials around Australia.
• Vessel load planning. Efficient vehicle stowage planning for PCC vessels in the fleet. Involves deep problem solving to ensure vessel space is utilized for maximum export, coastal volumes.
• Support all damage prevention activities nationally.
• Conducts regular vessel quality audits nationally. Analyzes, audits outcomes, and implements safety campaigns to ensure company safety standards are maintained.
• Coordinates and manages all damage claims.

• Picking and invoicing orders for dispatch including operation of cable cutting machine (for cable orders).
• Contacting customers whenever their back order arrives; interacts with customers and couriers whenever they are to pick up their pre-ordered goods. Assists customers visiting the store.

Receiving and booking in goods, and putting away stocks.

• Forklift operation (narrow aisle forklift), loading and unloading delivery trucks, utes, stowing pallets on racks.
• Job involves heavy lifting of cable drums, conduits, and struts.
• Participates in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. Does the warehouse close up daily?
• Assists the Warehouse Manager in the management of operations of the warehouse as a Warehouse Coordinator.

• Gets job orders from the warehouse supervisor. Job includes container unloading, palletizing, shrink wrapping, forklift operation, and freight sorting.
• Use of a shrink wrap machine.
• Operation of Counterbalance Forklift. Stacking, removing pallets at a fast pace.
• Job involves mostly physical work and heavy lifting (30+kg).
• Upkeeping of warehouse cleanliness and order.

• Works onboard international Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC) ships.
• Officer in Charge of ship navigation and cargo operations. Responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of the ship. Demonstrated expertise on different international shipping regulations such as International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGS) and GMDSS.
• Managed various aspects of shipboard operations, including cargo handling and mooring procedures.
• Trains deck cadets/apprentices. Trains shipboard staff during safety drills.
• Responsible for maintaining the ship's Life Saving and Firefighting equipment. Make sure all equipment is in satisfactory condition, quantities are as required, and everything is well documented.
