• Delivering independent care in patients home. Performing risk assessments and prevention including psychosocial and environmental factors ensuring a safe and suitable environment for both the patient and staff. Recognizing and responding to clinical deterioration in patient home, liaising with medical professionals and nursing staff from the community setting.
• Supporting new staff with orientation, supervision students, working in adverse weather events such as cyclones and floods and during the COVID19 pandemic
• Creation of rosters.

• Senior Registered Nurse/ Shift Team Leader/ NUM relief/ after-hours hospital in-charge/staff rostering.
• Providing impeccable care in the inpatient and outpatient care setting, across the life span.
• Training, Support and Supervision of new and junior staff and nursing students, medical students and First Line Emergency Care Trainer and Assessor

• Eight Bed Remote Hospital situated in the northeast of Western Australia.
• Inpatient and Outpatient care of patients across the life span.
• Liaison with other health service providers including Royal Flying Doctor Service for treatment and transfer of patients, working as sole health provider for the community when GP absent, transferring unwell patients in the Ambulance to Kununurra one hour away, liaison with local indigenous community health clinics, resource person for remote health clinics, orientation of new staff including non-nursing, mentoring less experienced staff ad those less familiar with remote area nursing and indigenous health, education in primary health, radiography of chest and extremities and developing of X-Rays, venepuncture and intravenous cannulation, plastering, suturing, comprehensive patient assessment.
• Eight Bed Remote Hospital situated in the northeast of Western Australia.

• General Surgical Ward 20 bed, Pre and Post of care of surgical patients – GIT, Neuro surgery, vascular, plastics, trauma, burns, maxillofacial.
• Four bed high dependency bay, Wound care, In charge of shift duties after hours, deployment to other wards, Senior Nurse Relief to all wards of hospital including paediatric (general and isolation), ICU non vent patients, Emergency, Surgical, Medical, orthopaedic, Short Stay Unit
• Major referral center for the Top End of Australia.
