Summary

I am a focused professional who is committed to safeguarding the medical needs, comforts, and emotional wellbeing of patients under my care. I have superb communication skills that enable me to develop a good rapport with the patient’s needs, their families, friends and visitors. I also possess excellent non-technical skills including observational and situational awareness and am knowledgeable in a variety of specialist and complex fields. My most challenging and fulfilling experience has come from working in cross-cultural settings which has enriched my understanding and abilities when interacting with people from varying race religion and cultural backgrounds. I worked throughout the COVID-19 pandemic in both the emergency department and Hospital in the Home community setting at Maclean Hospital using my clinical and critical thinking skills. Throughout I worked with minimal staff and supervision working autonomously and as a team member and leader keeping abreast of the ever-changing situation in those uncertain times.
