I took a clien with me who's family couldnt care for her at he time she was 32yrs old with Down Syndrome she lived with me in my home I was her carer she was assessed as being 3years old mentally. After tweve months of being her PC I had to put her into care as she became very challenging after her elder sister got cancer and couldnt visit anymore. I then went onto to work for Palm Beach nursing home for 3 years then it closed down. Then I moved back to Sydney. My husband and I brought a house in Kandos NSW and ran a timber mill for 10years then we seperated and I brought a house in Wellington Nsw and started Oasis Tender Care (Home and Community Care) This is where I met Patricia Bell( she had dementia) who I cared for for 5yrs in her home. After putting her into care in feb2023 I had a couple of clients for eight months in Wellington.
