I am a retired primary school teacher with 30 years experience. I have taught in mainstream primary school classrooms.

Founded and facilitated a program for those students identified as Gifted and Talented.

I founded and facilitated a program fo those children who were identified as disengaged, coming from troubled backgrounds and in need of a mentor. Which won a CEWA award for excellence

I was a Dynamic and enthusiastic educator at ST Simon Peter CPS, excelling in Classroom Management and Critical Thinking. Spearheaded a mentorship program, significantly enhancing student outcomes. Known for motivating students and fostering inclusive, technology-integrated learning environments. Proven track record in boosting engagement and academic performance through innovative lesson planning and effective communication.

I have since retirement done some private tutoring.

I am particularly interested in helping children engage with their education and fostering a positive relationship as i believe that when a child is relaxed and confident in themselves they are better able to learn and achieve success.
