On 29th of January I've started working at Gold Coast airport with Swissport.

My duties are:

• Proactively identifying potential problems or errors in the baggage handling process, taking corrective action when necessary.
• Improving baggage handling efficiency by streamlining loading and unloading processes.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient transfer of luggage between flights.
• Maintaining clear communication with colleagues, supervisors, and airline staff to coordinate seamless baggage services.
• Observing safety and privacy procedures in handling passengers' property.
• Following security protocols when handling passenger belongings, ensuring the protection of personal property and sensitive items.
• Conducting regular inspections of baggage handling equipment, reporting any issues for prompt repair or replacement.

On the 17th of June 2022 few months after moving to Australia I've taken up the role of a Baggage Handler at Dubbo Airport. It was a much needed break from healthcare for me. I'm enjoying learning new things in a completely new environment.

My duties were:

• Manually loading and offloading baggage to and from aircrafts, conveyor belts, loading areas, and luggage carts or other vehicles
• Moving luggage across terminals and airplane runways via the operation of baggage transfer vehicles such as carts
• Following security protocols when handling passenger belongings, ensuring the protection of personal property and sensitive items.
• Providing excellent customer service, assisting passengers with luggage-related enquiries and concerns.
• Operating other electronic airline related equipment, such as two-way radios, and tracking devices
• Proactively identifying potential problems or errors in the baggage handling process, taking corrective action when necessary.
• Maintaining clear communication with colleagues, supervisors, and airline staff to coordinate seamless baggage services.

• Operating iCargo, checking in and delivering freight
• Marshalling planes and passengers.
• Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines
• Operating scissor lift

On December 2020 during the second wave of the pandemic I have moved to Intensive Care Unit. It was an extremely busy time with very sick patients. I like challenges and learning new things so that was a great opportunity for me.

My duties in the unit were:

• Helping to monitor complex life-saving machinery such as ventilators and dialysis machines
• Restocking the bedsides and doing the pre-use checks to make sure everything is in working order and ready to take another patient
• Helping with the supply orders for the Unit
• Assisting with patient hygiene, physical comfort, eating, and drinking, and mobility while observing and reporting specific changes.
• Lifting patients using appropriate equipment in accordance with moving and handling policy.
• Reducing risk of infections by adhering to strict hygiene protocols during all aspects of care delivery.
• Maintaining clean environment with due consideration to health and safety issues and infection control policy.
• Enhancing patient comfort by providing personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
• Supporting nursing staff with care of incontinent patients and promotion of continence care.
• Increasing patient safety by promptly addressing concerns and reporting incidents or potential hazards to supervisory staff.

On June 2015 I have started working at Gastroenterology-Hepatology unit. Different type of patients with various age. It allowed me to learn new approaches with people. New skills, new types of hospital equipment and the ways to operate it. My duties were the same as in the previous unit I was employed at.

My healthcare career in the hospital started at Acute Elderly Care Unit.

My duties included:

• Assisting with patient hygiene, physical comfort, eating, and drinking, and mobility while observing and reporting specific changes.
• Performing vital signs monitoring, ensuring timely reporting of any abnormalities to the medical team.
• Contributing to efficient patient care by accurately documenting medical information and maintaining up-to-date records.
• Increasing patient safety by promptly addressing concerns and reporting incidents or potential hazards to supervisory staff.
• Responding swiftly to emergency situations, providing prompt assistance while following established protocols until professional help arrived onsite.
• Helping patients with self-feeding and assisted feeding, based on individual needs.
• Changing linens in rooms, keeping spaces fresh and clean for patient health and satisfaction.
• Reducing risk of infections by adhering to strict hygiene protocols during all aspects of care delivery.
• Observing patient skin conditions and reported findings to registered nurse.
• Lifting patients using appropriate equipment in accordance with moving and handling policy.
• End of life care.
