On 29th of January I've started working at Gold Coast airport with Swissport.

My duties are:

On the 17th of June 2022 few months after moving to Australia I've taken up the role of a Baggage Handler at Dubbo Airport. It was a much needed break from healthcare for me. I'm enjoying learning new things in a completely new environment.

My duties were:

  • Manually loading and offloading baggage to and from aircrafts, conveyor belts, loading areas, and luggage carts or other vehicles
  • Moving luggage across terminals and airplane runways via the operation of baggage transfer vehicles such as carts
  • Following security protocols when handling passenger belongings, ensuring the protection of personal property and sensitive items.
  • Providing excellent customer service, assisting passengers with luggage-related enquiries and concerns.
  • Operating other electronic airline related equipment, such as two-way radios, and tracking devices
