-   Advising Peabody energy on maintenance strategies and product updates on their fleet of mining excavator’s.

-   Working closely with the maintenance superintendent to plan and schedule the maintenance of the mining excavators on site.

-   Leading a team of 4 to 8 technicians in maintaining plant equipment in a safe and ethical manner to meet tight deadlines and return machines to the customer in a reliable state to maximise productivity. 

-   Attend meetings at a management level and deliver presentation's and monthly performance reports.

-   Carrying out daily safety interactions & observations ensuring compliance of all WH&S Acts Regulations and codes of practice.

-   Risk assessments reviews, Identifying safety and environmental hazards, stopping the job where necessary, Reporting or rectifying them.
