I was employed by Kaefer on Varanus Island which is an off shore live LNG facility. I was the only sheet metal fabricator / lagger on site and had no supervision to report to. My roll included:

• Communicating with Perth office planners to organise future work scopes.
• Creating permits
• Fabricating Aluminium cladding
• Pre measuring pipe work to be fabricated
• Grid mesh remediation
• Boiler making
• Creating work packs from SAP
• Managing work fronts to meet deadlines
• Mechanical fitting, when there wasn't many sheet metal scopes in the schedule. Including - Various valve change outs, hot bolting, gasket change outs, denzo studs & flange, insuring flanges where torqued to correct torque setting in the flange management.

I worked on various projects on both the Inpex CPF & FPSO

Both facilities are live oil/gas plants. My roll included:

• Permit holding
• Fabricating S/S cladding
• Lagging Hot work, mostly cryogel
• Lagging & cladding both included various degree bends, T pieces, trunions, D boxes, cones & straight casing.
• I was also leading hand on the CPF for roughly six months.
• Job allocation
• Communicating with Inpex supervision directly
• Creating work packs
• Creating permits

I was employed by UGL as a Sheet Metal Worker on the Ningaloo Vision FPSO (live plant). My role included:

• Removing and reinstating sheet metal and lagging for pipe inspections & remeidiation.
• Re-installing reused materials.
• provided support to other trades, including mechanical fitters, scaffolders, and painters, as required.
• Given the limited personnel on board, teamwork was essential, and all staff were expected to contribute across various tasks beyond their core trade responsibilities.

• I worked for AGC at Yarra fertiliser plant in Karatha completing a shut down
• This shut down was to inspect old pipe work so we were stripping the sheet metal and isolation and putting it aside to re fit once inspections were complete
• Some of the old sheet metal and insulation was too damaged to re instate so we would refabricate new metal
