  • Beginning on site with Preparation crew, Assisting with the assembly of Hubs & Nacelles, following technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Utilising tools and machinery to fit and secure components accurately.
  • Report any defects or issues to site supervisor for resolution.
  • Transferring to Pre-Installation, ensuring all electrical components where tested & tagged.
  • Preparations of Sections 2 & 3 by cleaning, checking for defects, organising parts and ensuring all required tools and materials are available.
  • Assist in the lifting and positioning of turbine sections during the installation process.
  • Assisting in tensioning flanges using smart tooling bolt stretchers.
  • Connecting each component sections light & power.
  • Transferring to Electrical Completions, assisting in the installation of electrical components, wiring and systems.

  • Use testing equipment to conduct voltage, continuity and insulation resistance tests.

Some daily roles include: Generator cable termination, generator cable drops, dropping the 400v cable and control cables, top, middle and bottom join, cabling from generator switch cabinets to the convertor, fire detection system in the nacelle, earthing system in the lower tower etc
