I wanted further experience in logistics as it aligns with my study and the career I want to pursue. I took the job at Warren Global where I was tasked mainly with assisting the existing sea import team. I quickly learned the processes and was assisting the Air team as well. My tasks would include, quoting clients, tracking vessels, gathering necessary documents and getting shipments cleared with customs. Which then lead to arrange appropriate deliveries.

  • Advised customers on transportation options, types of carriers or shipping routes.
  • Reviewed invoices from suppliers and carriers for accuracy before processing payment transactions, avoiding potential financial discrepancies in accounting records.
  • Liaised with customs brokers to expedite shipments through port inspections and clearance processes.
  • Coordinated with shipping and transport companies on behalf of clients.
  • Coordinated shipments of product from country of origin to final destination by both air, sea and land transport.
