Summary

I am an eager person, who is always up for a challenge and learning new skills.

Dedicated and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Case Manager with 2 years of experience managing complex workers' compensation claims for Physical and Psychological injuries from initiation to resolution. Skilled in coordinating medical care, collaborating with healthcare providers, employers, workers from culturally diverse backgrounds and legal teams whilst ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Proven ability to reduce claim costs and recovery time through effective case management, worker advocacy, and timely interventions. Strong knowledge of workers' compensation legislation, return-to-work programs, and medical case management best practices.

As a Peer Mentor at the University of Newcastle I worked with Autistic University students to improve their organizational, social and academic skills. I am able to deliver program initiatives focused on increasing visibility and community involvement. I was also committed to providing support for issues related to social, academic, financial and general well-being.

My internship in psychology located in Valencia Spain has allowed me to gain skills in emotional regulation, psychological interviewing and intervention as well as working with autistic children. I have gained insight into both cognitive and behavioral therapies, as well as given tools to create activities or strategies that may help an individual identify what emotions they are feeling and how to regulate these. I was tasked with conducting intake and progress interviews with children, putting into practice emotional regulation exercises and analysing a child's wellbeing.
