Summary

I am a fit, hard-working 27-year-old. I have worked in the turf industry for the past 9 years, and I also have prior experience in conduction of sporting and recreational events. I have worked at a number of sites which has helped me to learn and further my knowledge about turf. However in my previous roles, I have learnt that the turf industry involves continual learning, therefore I am hoping that any future roles will help me further my knowledge within this industry.

Groundsman/Site Supervisor

  • Mineral Resources Park (Feb 2021 -July 2021): involved in maintaining the facility under a site supervisor. Duties included; verti-draining oval, fertilising, spraying, linemarking, clegg hammer readings, gardening and mowing.
  • HBF Arena (July 2021 -May 2021): Site supervisor at HBF Arena. Duties included; verti-draining oval, fertilising, spraying, linemarking, clegg hammer readings, gardening, mowing, reporting to bosses monthly, looking after staff, working around and with users of the facility, looking after and using irrigation, maintaining irrigation pond, preparing the oval for WAFL games.
  • Fremantle Council Mowing (May 2021-2023): Duties included; mowing, edging, reporting and liaising to council, working to a schedule, working in and around busy public areas.
  • 2IC Marangaroo Golf Course (2023-Current): Involved in everything involved in the upkeep of a golf course. Duties include but are not limited to; managing roles and responsibilities for a groundsmen and two apprentices, troubleshooting and managing toro lynx irrigation system, hole changing, cutting all surfaces, spraying, green repairs including plugging and turfing, liaising with stakeholders in the pro shop and having a high work standard to match golfers expectations.
