Strategy Administrator

  • Supported the Strategy, Governance and Assurance departments being the first point of contact, maintaining internal databases, preparing reports to Council and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinated information and project tasks by delegating responsibilities appropriately.
  • Supported the Youth Council by facilitating the regular meetings. Responsibilities included recording and updating the Agendas, Minutes, Attendance, Finances as well as being the point of communication with stakeholders/sponsors.
  • A highlight of this role was being Project Coordinator of the largest written project within Council that lasted 18 months to span a projected timeframe of 10 years from the time of document adoption under legislation.

The document was adopted within the legislated timeframe, with praise from the Office of the Auditor General. During Council meetings, Elected members with the Chief Executive and Mayor repeatedly thanked the Strategy department for all our hard work. The relationships I built in my time there were incredibly meaningful and the skills developed I wish to continue to build on.

Process Plant Operator - Casein Drier

  • Operated the 10 tonne steam dryer system to control the processing of Casein product at the correct speed to meet export specifications.
  • Followed hygiene and safety protocols utilising personal protective equipment in a controlled food grade (red) zone.

  • Participated in training of safe use of acid/alkali chemicals and emergency drills.

This was a temporary contract.
